The Story Behind The Food.

Roots is where it all started for Chef Keira. A love and passion for all things food began at an early age.


Her grandparents immigrated from Greece, and she was raised west of Boston making dinners with all people known to her as “family”. From her early teens she worked in restaurants in Boston. Keira then travelled extensively, living both on the West Coast and East Coast.

 

In the late 90’s Keira landed in NYC. She worked and managed in numerous restaurants
where she embarked and succeeded in leading teams as an executive lead chef for boutique catering companies.

Keira’s love of water began at a young age while fishing with her father during summers spent all over the Northeast. Her love of food, coupled with water, brought her to the world of yachting. For over 7 years Chef Keira has worked on Super Yachts as an Executive Sole Chef. 


As a world traveler and lover of culture Keira had visited Puerto Rico numerous times. Back on Island after 5 years her aha moment was clear. After years sailing at sea, Puerto Rico was her happy place and where
heart belonged.
 
Corazón Culinary was born from following her heart. Do what you love, love where you live, and the enchantment ensues! Family, friends and creating lifetime memorable experiences for people is the most important thing to Chef Keira.
 
Some of her favorite styles of cooking are Mediterranean, Asian, and Artisanal. Keira is constantly in search of new cuisines from all over the globe widening her experience and culinary repertoire.
